Flu Alert: Colds, flu and COVID-19 have some things in common
Colds, flu and COVID-19 are caused by viruses and share some symptoms.
This year, the flu and COVID-19 can be serious and lead to days in the hospital or even death.
Yearly shots can help you defend against the flu. Get your flu shot and protect yourself from the flu.
Everyone over the age of 6 months* should get a flu shot every year. To get your annual flu shot, visit your primary care provider (PCP) or visit a participating pharmacy.
