UnitedHealthcare reviews evidence-based clinical guidelines annually from trusted national sources for our contracted practitioners. As a result, the following guidelines have been updated and adopted by the health plan. Please review them carefully to determine if and how they affect your daily practices.
Effective January 1, 2025, Preferred Homecare is no longer the exclusive provider for Health Plan of Nevada HMO and UnitedHealthcare Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid members for large DME and respiratory equipment. Read more.
Effective April 1, 2025, Health Plan of Nevada and Sierra Health and Life commercial plans no longer require prior authorization for non-invasive prenatal testing. Read more.

Effective February 1, 2025, UHC HPN Medicaid will use state-set PAD pricing. Read more.
